About Us
The Haitian Association for Agricultural, Medical, Educational and Social Assistance (AHAAMES) is a Haitian organization committed to promoting the well-being of the most vulnerable communities.
Since its creation, it has worked to improve the living conditions of populations through humanitarian, social, health and environmental interventions.
Guided by the values of solidarity, equity and community engagement, AHAAMES implements sustainable projects that aim to strengthen the resilience of families and promote balanced development.
"What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and for the world remains and is immortal."
Albert Pike
Our mission
AHAAMES' mission is to contribute to the sustainable improvement of living conditions in Haitian communities through humanitarian, social, health, educational and environmental actions.
The organization commits to:
Promote access to drinking water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH);
Strengthening food and nutritional security for vulnerable families;
Promote education and the rehabilitation of school infrastructure;
Protecting the environment, particularly through the restoration of mangroves and the sustainable management of natural resources;
Stimulating community development and resilience to climate and socio-economic shocks.
Driven by the values of solidarity, respect, inclusion and sustainability, AHAAMES works for a more equitable, healthier and more resilient Haiti.

Our vision
AHAAMES aspires to a Haiti where every individual lives in dignity, has access to clean water, sufficient food, quality education and a healthy environment.
We dream of a resilient, united and sustainable country, where local communities become agents of their own development, capable of facing humanitarian, climate and social challenges.
Through our actions, we want to build a fairer, more equitable and more humane future for present and future generations.
