Strengthening resilience in the area of food security and climate change adaptation among vulnerable population groups in four affected communities in Haiti
The vulnerability to food crises of 11,389 families has been reduced through the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices and the implementation of nutritional education measures in the municipalities of Belle Anse (southeast), Cité Soleil (west), Petit Trou des Nippes, and Baradères (Nippes).

Food security and enhanced resilience for vulnerable communities affected by the earthquake in Nippes, Haiti
Following the earthquake that struck the Nippes department in Haiti, AHAAMES and Malteser International Americas have set up a project aimed at strengthening food security and resilience in the most vulnerable communities. The project's objective is to improve the resilience of poor and vulnerable communities in terms of food security and adaptation to climate change in three municipalities in Nippes. This project is funded by BMZ and ADH and will benefit 4,490 households over a period of four years (December 2023 to November 2026).
